Film Review: Iron Man 2
Iron Man 2
Director Jon Favreau and Robert Downey Jr return for this highly anticipated sequel “Iron Man 2″. Continuing from the last film, one thing that hasn’t changed, is the outstanding performances delivered by Robert Downey Jr. You can truly say he was meant to play Tony Shark and this is only added too by the great on screen chemistry with Gwyneth Paltrow.
I wasn’t to sure about the newly casted Don Cheadle in place of Terrence Howard. But he did do a really good job though I personally preferred the original cast of Terrence Howard.
I was glad to see Mickey Rourke play his role perfectly. His performances made a great “whiplash” and he executed it beautifully. Overall I can say the cast did a great job and Scarlett Johansson was amazing, but wished she had a bigger role.
Would I recommend this movie? Iron Man 2 is disappointing in some way; it does not deliver the high pack thrills of its prequel and I felt like something was missing that could have made it great (though I can’t quite put my finger on it) . It’s still worth taking the step out your front door to go see it, thanks to the strong performances of the main cast and the half decent special effect. Take a look and let me know what you think
