Invincible’s Live and Unplugged
NVS, Twee and the Eezy, Sons of Soul (SOS) and Hogan were the bands that performed at the first Invincible Live and Unplugged.
Invincible, who are the organisation behind one of the UK’s biggest urban music ceremonies in the UMAs (Urban Music Awards), are holding their monthly Live and Unplugged sessions to promote and support up and coming acts.
Held at the exclusive and intimate Chelsea Night Club Tuatara, the night kicked off with a performance from NVS. NVS (pronounced envious) are a new all dancing all singing pop group consisting of three guys and two young ladies. intimate setting they still managed to pull off their dance routine and really set the bar high for the other acts to follow though only performing one track.
Twee and the Eezy followed NVS on stage and performing three tracks. Twee could be described as a soul and jazz influenced indie rock band. Lead singer Twee has recently collaborated with Rux Music who have penned tracks for some of the worlds biggest acts.
Sons Of Soul took to the stage next. With a reputation for being ones for the ladies, they sure didn’t fail to deliver. Strongly influenced by 90’s US R&B acts such as Dru Hill and 112, SOS truly added to the very eclectic range of acts on show. Catch highlights of their performance in the above video.
Hogan was the final act on the night and performed four tracks. Hogan is an Irish rock band who has been generating a real buzz in Ireland and have recently released their first independent album entitled Boom!
Invincible CEO Jordan Kensington took to the stage at the end of Hogan’s performance to make a special announcement. He announced that he was interesting in signing Hogan to his management company to rapturous applause form the fans and a genuine response of excitement from the all the band members of Hogan.
