Method Man & Redman return to the UK

Redman and Method Man, the hip hop legends are set to “raise the roof” at Kentish Town’s HMV Forum on November 7th 2010

On a night presented by Flavour of the Month and celebrating DJ 279’s anniversary, Redman and Method Man will headline a night for true hip hop fans. Also performing on the night will be Mystro and many other top UK hip hop acts.

Method Man of the Wu-tang Clan, has a career that spans nearly 2 decades and has recorded many classics and collaborated with hip hops biggest star’s including, The Notorious BIG, LL Cool J, Mary J Blige, Diddy and much more.

Redman who is part of Eric Sermon’s Def Squad draws a similarly spectacular career including club bangers such as Da Goodness, Let’s Get Dirty and Smash Sumthin’ produced by the UK’s Adam F. Redman has collaborated with a huge array of hip hop and pop stars including Busta Rhymes, Tupac, Pink and Christina Aguilera.

Outside of their own solo and group careers Method Man and Redman have also had two albums out together and featured together on more than ten tracks outside these projects.



Some of their biggest collabo’s include tracks Da Rockwilda, Y.O.U and How High, the latter also being the name of the feature length movie starring the pair.

, This promises to be a night for tue fans of hip hop.
Friday Nite Flava’s is radio’s longest running Rap show in the UK and
re-launches the renowned and much loved Flava Of The Month Hip Hop nights.

Back in 1993 DJ 279 launched Flava Of The Month, a monthly Hip Hop party @
The Borderline Club. The night provided a platform for numerous UK artists
such as Fallacy, Blak Twang, Estelle, Skinnyman, MCD, David J and Funky DL,
as well as UK DJ legends, Steve Wren, Cutmaster Swift, Big Ted & Baby K on
regular turntable duties.

Flava Of The Month has also be responsible for bringing Mad Skillz, Dead Prez,
Big L, O.C, Canibus, DJ Cash Money, Tony Touch, Big L, Big Daddy Kane
and
Master Ace to the UK, and those are just a few names on a very illustrious
list.

After a 2 year hiatus, Method Man & Redman return to the UK to perform on
this very special night, with cameo appearances from the UK’s Hip Hop elite
a night not to be missed for all the Real Hip Hop fans!
