With less than a week to go until the inaugural Forgotten Fields opens it’s gates, a raft of new attractions and areas have been announced, making the intimate weekend in the fields one of the true highlights of the festival calendar.

Bringing a true celebration of all things ale, the Forgotten Fields Real Ale Festival will be boasting a lovingly selected range of national and regional favourites to spark the interest of festival goers over the weekend. With the adults sorted, the BigTop Mania Kids Area will be on hand to entertain the whole family throughout the weekend, bringing a range of performances, games, talent shows and discos for a rapturous programme of family fun. The Social will be the destination of choice for those seeking a cosy pint with their festival experience. Playing host to late-night magic shows, musical bingo, the Forgotten Fields Pub Quiz, Blindfold Dating and the unique phenomenon of karaoke backed by a gospel choir (Gospeloke), The Social has all the ingredients to be the true focal point of alternative entertainment in the Deer Park. Those who feel creatively inclined can head to the Craftwerk area, as festival-goers will have the chance to indulge in a variety of unique workshop projects set to get the creative juices flowing throughout the weekend.

The larger than life musical line-up continues to grow with a plethora of new and emerging talent including Champs, The Lion And The Wolf and Plastic Mermaids showcasing their sound to the masses in Eridge Deer Park. They join an eclectic line-up of legendary names taking to the stage at Forgotten Fields headlined by UK Dance Icons Basement Jaxx, cult innovators Super Furry Animals and local favourites The Levellers, all in the picturesque landscapes of Eridge Deer Park. With further performances from Razorlight, Augustines, The Horrors and De La Soul amongst others, Forgotten Fields is set to embody the British Festival Experience.

Jago

grew up in Camden, so it’s safe to say that there is not much this boy has not seen. He is hard to shock yet easy to please, armed with an eclectic taste in music and film. Jago is always ready to tackle anything from Punk Rock, D & B, House to Opera. This makes him a great person to send out into the thick of things. He has a passion for cinematography and fine dining and constantly tries to mix the two. If he is not dancing, eating or watching a movie then he is probably working his way through a bottle of champagne with the local talent. HE NEVER SLEEPS!
