Readipop Festival returns to the banks of the River Thames in Caversham, 10 mins walk from Reading Station for the fourth time from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th July after last year’s well attended and well received event. The Readipop music charity is very proud to be bringing it’s strongest and most diverse musical line-up yet to Reading for an affordable weekend alongside delicious street food, a Reading Etsy team market, boat trips plus workshops in music, arts, circus & dance for all the family (including free entry for under 14s!). Early bird and Tiers 1-3 tickets are all sold out, weekend tickets are just £40 each with day tickets between £18-23 until all remaining tickets move up to final advanced tier on 1st July.

Headlining this year’s three dayer are ambient house pioneers The Orb (performing a 30th Anniversary Greatest Hits set), Acid Jazz heroes Brand New Heavies and re-formed Nineties Britpoppers Sleeper. Also playing across the weekend are BBC 6Music A-Playlisters Ibibio Sound Machine, Notting Hill Carnival ‘Good Times’ legend Norman Jay MBE, Grammy nominated chart toppers Musical YouthSoup from Jurassic 5‘s new project Fullee Love Collective,The Levellers and The Bluetones frontmen Mark Chadwick and Mark Morriss, video splicing comedy geniusesCassetteboy vs DJ Rubbish, electro punks Audio Bullys, eighties indie pop charters The Primitives and Fuzzbox, soul sensations & Craig Charles favourites J.P. Readipop Festival director Gavin Lombos: “After last year’s festival saw our audience grow and awareness of our work increase, we were keen to build on this momentum with an even stronger music line-up whilst keeping ticket prices low and making it accessible to all. We feel strongly that we’ve achieved that and our excitement for the performances coming to Caversham this July could not be higher!”

Reading’s home-grown music festival also helps to support the Readipop Music Charity, with all profits going to support the charity’s work with disadvantaged and underrepresented musicians within the town.

Jago

grew up in Camden, so it’s safe to say that there is not much this boy has not seen. He is hard to shock yet easy to please, armed with an eclectic taste in music and film. Jago is always ready to tackle anything from Punk Rock, D & B, House to Opera. This makes him a great person to send out into the thick of things. He has a passion for cinematography and fine dining and constantly tries to mix the two. If he is not dancing, eating or watching a movie then he is probably working his way through a bottle of champagne with the local talent. HE NEVER SLEEPS!
