The Pinkprint – Nicki Minaj Album Review

The Pinkprint is Nicki Minaj’s third album after ‘Pink Friday and Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’.
The Pinkprint has the singles “Pills n Potions”, “Anaconda”, “Only” and “Bed of Lies”, which have all appeared on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

Nicki, who collaborates with artists such as Beyoncé, Jeremih, Chris Brown, Drake and Lil Wayne on The Pinkprint,
has said of the albums “it’s very different from anything I’ve done”.

Just a week after the albums debut on December 15th 2014, it had already sold over 200,000 copies placing it at number 2 on the US Billboard Charts and number 1 on the R&B/Hip Hop cBillboard Charts.
The album has a total of 16 songs. However, the deluxe version of The Pinkprint has 5 additional songs.
The Pinkprint is Nicki’s best album so far. Out of all of Nicki’s albums The Pinkprint is by far my favourite, followed by Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded and then Pink Friday. This shows that, in my opinion, Nicki has improved with every album. Something i like to see (Alicia Keys take note).

The stand out tracks on this album are ‘Feeling Myself’ and ‘Only’ followed by ‘Favourite’ and ‘Trini Dem Girls’; but overall the whole album is great.
For all the attention Iggy Azalea has gotten over 2014, Nicki Minaj drops one album and shows what a real female rapper is. In my opinion Nicki Minaj is the best female rapper of this generation. She is on top of her game and is only getting better.

Nicki has outdone herself with this amazing album it’s definitely a must have.
I give The Pinkprint:
5 out of 5.
Nicki Minaj is planning a Pinkprint tour which starts March 16, 2015 and ends April 12, 2015. The tour goes all around Europe and stops in London at the O2 Arena on the 28th March. Get tickets on Ticketmaster.
