Landing this October – and with a phenomenal collaboration with The Streets as its lead single – Chris Lorenzo’s new album Late Checkout perfectly encapsulates why he’s regarded as one of the most consistently exciting and original electronic producers in the world.

Late Checkout is the new album from groundbreaking producer and DJ Chris Lorenzo. Over the last few years, Lorenzo has proved one of the most relentlessly exhilarating producers of his generation, and Late Checkout explores a range of sounds and styles, while remaining ultimately rooted in the bass music with which he made his name.

Across 12 original productions Lorenzo explores bass house, jungle, drum and bass, garage and even downtempo, with heavy, Reece-inspired basslines and clattering drums rubbing shoulders with melodic breakbeats and ragga vocals.

The lead single from Late Checkout is a phenomenal collaboration with Mike Skinner’s legendary The Streets. Featuring elements of drum and bass, jungle, bass house and with Skinner’s inimitable songwriting and delivery, Take Me As I Am sees both these powerhouse artists at the very top of their game. Raw, hard-hitting and with a killer vocal, Take Me As I Go has already caught the attention of Zane Lowe who ran its world premiere on his Beats show this week.

To celebrate the release of Late Checkout, Chris will perform at the album launch party 11 October at Village Underground London, taking in a wide spectrum of sounds across an extended six-hour set.
