Slough based rapper Jack Da Union releases his highly anticipated 9-track EP ‘Barred’, which is available as a free download now via Diceros Records.
Openly describing his music as “rap over hip hop production an underground street essence with a twist of intellectuality expressed in metaphors similes and wordplay”, Jack Da Union is proud to wear the badge of an underground street artist with overground appeal. Most commonly known for his Channel AKA smashes’Hood Tactics’ (which reached Number 1 on their Official Chart) and ‘Run’ (which had similar success peaking at Number 3 on the station). Jack followed up these single releases with his critically acclaimed self-titled mixtape ‘Jack Da Union’ (which was released independently on Diceros Records – the label Jack co-owns alongside long time friend / record producer Jon-Con) and his highly anticipated follow up mixtape project titled ‘Redkoatz’. Without the aid of distributors, PR companies or management, Jack and Diceros have managed to amass a worldwide following through sheer hard work, determination and a love of genuinely good hip hop music. Most recently, leading urban music tastemakers SBTV have pledged their support for Jack, with further press support expected with his latest release.
