The Mixup is looking forward to bringing you coverage of NASS fest this July, 2013. It is one of the UKs best events for BMX, FMX, Skate and Inline and combines this with heavy basslines of bum&bass, dubstep, punk and rock. For 3 days the Bath and West Showground will be filled with athletes performing and competing all around the camp, live street art displays, DJs and live music late into the night.
The grounds are always alive with the huge emphasis on BMX, Skate and Inline. There are street areas, dirt ramps and a huge indoor arena where you can see the professionals performing and competing. There is also a dramatic FMX show which will amaze anyone. Public skate-ramps are available for the public to have a go, and for those who enjoy a bit of adrenaline but don’t fancy getting on some wheels there is also a fairground in the festival site full of rides.
NASS also has 5 music stages. Headlining the main stage this year will be hip-hop star Nas, NME winner Katy B and Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe. Also playing the main stage are Hadouken!, Loadstar, Mosta and rock bands We Are The Ocean and Run From Robots. The other stages, including brum&bass area and UKF, are hosting renowned artists Andy C, DJ Marky, Shy FX, Benga, Drumsound and Bassline Smith and Mistajam.
