Onelove Festival 4th – 5th Sep

Following the recent nearby plane crash The council have decided that the prospect of having to evacuate 3000 festival goers is just too much of a risk and deemed the Popham site unworkable for our Music Festival.

Whilst this seemed like a massive blow it actually turned out to be a blessing as we have now secured a magical new site. Croft Farm, with its lake-side camping and caravanning facilities, is an ideal “Reggae by the River” setting.

A Thriving Water park encompassing wonderful Gloucestershire countryside with access to The River Avon and stunning views of Bredon Hill.

At night the sunset over the Malverns is spellbinding…

Nothing can beat waking up next to a shimmering lake with the festival starting to stir in the background.Whats even better is we’ll now have the extra bonus of being able to offer lakeside activities for everyone!

These include:
Pedal, Dragon / Swan & Rowing Boats, Kayaks, Canoes, Katakanus, Various Dinghies, Paddleboard, Windsurfing and Pedal Karts.

There is also the option for lakeside glamping!!

We have two and four person (heated) chalets available and these are conveniently next to one of our toilet and shower blocks. All the rooms arelockable (returnable key deposit required) and also feature a standard 230v double socket for charging those essential festival gadgets! All you need to bring is sleeping bag and pillow Pod Village. Each Pod features two bunk beds so can sleep 4 people. A fifth mattress can be placed on floor to make it 5 people. A private toilet & shower block is located nearby and all the rooms are lockable ( returnable key deposit required) featuring a standard 230v double socket and again all you need to bring is sleeping bag and pillow.

The One Love Festival encourages peace, love and unity that was championed by the great Bob Marley. With these messages in mind, they aim to surpass our European Reggae counterparts and hold the largest Reggae festival right here in the UK!

One Love Festival History
One Love Festival’s inception in 2008 marked the 1978 30th anniversary of Reggae legend Bob Marley’s concert of the same name. The famous concert was held in Kingston, Jamaica during a political civil war between opposing parties; Jamaican Labour Party and the People’s National Party. The concert came to its peak when Marley joined the hands of political rivals, Michael Manley (PNP) and Edward Seaga (JLP).

The One Love Festival’s popularity increases each year, and brings together some of the industry’s greatest veterans, alongside the rising stars of tomorrow. Being the only reggae camping festival in the UK makes it a special occasion with a friendly and chilled vibe. For those who love the Caribbean sound, this is your chance to experience the taste too with a huge range of catering outlets providing authentic food. Also expect an array of independent
stall holders selling crafts, clothing, cultural items and most importantly records, so you can take some of the music home.

Jago

grew up in Camden, so it’s safe to say that there is not much this boy has not seen. He is hard to shock yet easy to please, armed with an eclectic taste in music and film. Jago is always ready to tackle anything from Punk Rock, D & B, House to Opera. This makes him a great person to send out into the thick of things. He has a passion for cinematography and fine dining and constantly tries to mix the two. If he is not dancing, eating or watching a movie then he is probably working his way through a bottle of champagne with the local talent. HE NEVER SLEEPS!
